Leda is an ivory, strapless mermaid floating lace gown, over web lace. The intricate and delicate rose and tulip lace lays over the webbed lace to create a gorgeous three-dimensional, yet extremely light look. At the top of the tight bodice sits a wispy tulle piece, which gives the illusion of something soft floating on the skin. At the bottom of the bodice, the skirt opens up into an insane, romantic full skirt. The bustle of the dress is remarkable. Please note that the back of this dress is different from the one shown on the Vera Wang website. They now offer the option to not have the raffles. I chose a simpler look so that I could wear the amazing Leda veil that perfectly matches the dress and which I will include with no additional cost ($1,495 retail). I will also include a $100 gift certificate for the Vera Wang recommended J. Scheer & Co. in New York for future preservation. I will send the dress with the original Vera Wang garment bag and hanger. This is a size 10 (bridal) but I am normally a 6. The dress did not require any alteration besides taking in a few inches from the sides. I am 6' and wore 2" heels and it was grazing the floor.
