The bottom part of the dress has multiple streams of ivory chiffon beautifully forming roses. Other streams just fall diagonally across, giving the dress a very Vera Wang/couture feel. One of the diagonal streams detached during the reception dancing, but it can easily be sewn back. I also had my seamstress add some strings to tie the long tail up, as it can be hard to dance with the long dress. However, the strings are hidden from view under the dress. I could feel the high quality of the dress as it barely required alterations and it fell perfectly over my body. What can I say, it's Vera Wang. Although I am sad to part with this stunning dress which made me so happy on my Feb. 3, 2018 wedding day, it makes no sense to keep it to myself in my closet. I hope that it can bring joy to another bride and make her feel as beautiful as I did on my wedding day. I purchased the dress, with a veil and belt, on November 13, 2017 at the Vera Wang store on Madison Ave., NYC. My price includes the veil (Plain Chapel Veil in Ivory- that cost me $250.00) and the Platinum Jeweled Garland on GR o/S Ivory (that cost me $695.00). The dress is a size 8, yet I had it taken in a bit in the waist and length. I am 5'9 in height and wore two and half inch heels. The belt did not come with the dress, but I decided to add it as it gave it an awesome touch and accented my waist. It ties with a hand made bow. I have included it in my price.
