Esme by Vera Wang is a very unique and special dress that I was so happy to wear for my tropical destination wedding in Bermuda. I purchased this dress from the bridal boutique at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York. From the second I saw it, I loved the dress for its romantic and non-traditional styling, from the nude underlay and lace body to the dramatic tulle skirt, with ruffle and lace floral details. It is the perfect style for a bride who is looking for a dress that is elegant, special, and unconventional. For comfort I did have this dress altered to sew cups into the chest as well as change the original straps to a solid nude satin strap that meets toward the zipper in the back. I only wore this dress for the ceremony and photo portion of my wedding before changing. Please note that this dress has not been professionally dry cleaned and will need to be touched up in the tulle layers at the bottom.
